FILMINK GOES DIGITAL TV

Australia’s Best Movie Magazine is moving into video content production for the digital world with the launch of their brand new monthly online video, FILMINK tv.

FILMINK tv will embody all that makes FILMINK Magazine the leading film source in Australia. FILMINK tv will include interviews, reviews, previews and more in that unique FILMINK style- well informed, up to date, with just a touch of irreverence and a sense of humour.

Check out the first episode at www.filmink.com.au/videos and www.swishtv.com.au/filmink. Watch interviews with acclaimed Australian filmmaker and Tropfest director John Polson, Acolytes director Jon Hewitt, find out what we think of Mary And Max, and get all the results of the 2009 FILMINK Awards.

With a little help from Abe Forsythe (Tropfest award winning short film Being Carl Williams, feature film Ned), Julian Shaw (Darling! The Pieter Dirk Uys Story), actor/filmmaker Matt Zeremes (All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane, Burke and Wills) and Baz Luhrmann, the first episode of FILMINK tv is sure to entertain.

FILMINK founder Dov Kornits said “We’re very excited to be launching FILMINK tv. FILMINK has been around for almost 12 years and while the brand is still going strong, we thought we’d make the jump into the digital content world and offer movie lovers everywhere another way to experience FILMINK.”

New episodes of FILMINK tv will go live each month, coinciding with the release of each new issue of FILMINK magazine. FILMINK tv can be seen each month on filmink.com.au and swishtv.com.au, where you can download episodes to your iPhone, iPod touch or your Facebook page.
