THE TRANSFER
Video:
The widescreen presentation looks pretty good all things considered. The image is clear enough to allow you to see everything you need to and the colors are acceptable. The image shows signs of age amongst which a lack of contrast seems to be the most troublesome, however the people who viewed this disc with me had no complaints and unless you are a videophile you will have no problem with this disc.
Audio:
The DVD features a mono soundtrack which is serviceable but by no means amazing. The dialogue can be heard and there are no syncing issues but the whole thing just doesn’t sound very good. Still, it’s probably as good as it’s going to get.
THE EXTRAS
We get a 20 minute documentary about the filmmaker on this DVD and it is a really wonderful addition. Also included are some promotional material and a music video.
